Mercury Drayage & Parcel Service

Rebranding, Visual Design, Apparel

Founded by Fredrich Jewett and Stanley McCloud during the post-war boom of the late 1940s, Mercury Parcel & Drayage Service began as a modest, family-run business offering local drayage services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. As dedicated Teamsters, Jewett & McCloud played a crucial role in America’s economic revival through their unionized labor.

Mercury epitomized the American Dream, demonstrating that with just a handful of trucks, grit, and determination, hard work truly pays off. Although the company was sold in the 1980s, this project aims to honor their legacy by reimagining the brand with a nostalgic, retro flair.
